Yoga Tune Up® is a mobility training that combines yoga therapy, self massage, and corrective exercises. In YTU classes students use high grip rubber balls for targeted self massage and trigger point release of high tension areas. Massaging deep into the fascia and using mobility exercises, student's learn to increase proprioception, or awareness of their body in space, which can aid in injury prevention, enhance performance and improve coordination and precision.
YTU helps to eradicate pain by identifying and addressing blind spots - areas of the body which are overused, misused or abused. It is a great tool for athletic recovery, improving posture, combating office and travel woes, carrying little ones or heavy items and everyday life. The result is living better in your body. |
